Our little bundle of Joy!

I couldn't help but want to post these pictures of our little bundle of joy! And he really is a joy! He is now a little over 10 months old! It really has gone by quickly. I look forward to each day with him! It has been slightly difficult for him with dad being in school now. He doesn't get to play with him as much. But they still get their daddy/son time. We are happy and we are busy. We have a lot to look forward to.

A Christmas to Remember

I have been thinking a lot about what I would write here in this blog when the time came. And still I don't know. But I do know that we have had a great year. January of this year we were in Emmett, Idaho. I was in my third trimester. We were not about to move ANYWHERE. March 20th, 2009 (3 1/2 months later) something beautiful came. Our little boy was born. 2 1/2 months after that, we moved to Moscow Idaho. 6 months after that, brings us here, now.
We are getting ready to begin school on the 13th of January. Braxton is a little over 9 months old with a whopping count of 7 TEETH! I guess they all just decided to come at once! We had a beautiful Christmas at my parents "new" house over in Pullman. We ate soup, watched a movie on the projector, ate/decorated sugar cookies, played games, all went to wingers, admired how beautiful it was outside, ate breakfast, played basketball, at crispix mix, shared childhood stories, laughed together, and even cried together. It was beautiful. We may not all be here next year, as we are all moving into new chapters of our lives. But we do all love each other. I have taken an interest in "calligraphy." I have been developing my own "fonts" of handwriting and maybe someday create & design my own cards(christmas, thankyou, etc.). But that will be a little ways down the road. Ricky is working hard. Too hard at times. We officially finish the paper route on the 15th of January. YAY! We are all happy! We are VERY excited to begin this new year, PHEW!

The view from the front of my parents "new" house. All the trees are theirs.

"All I for Christmas are my two front teeth..."

Well, its official Braxton now has his two front teeth. Another small one on the top broke through last night making it a total of 5 teeth all together! He is crawling like crazy! And he also started to pull himself up...a scary but exciting development. We had a crazy but fun week. Grandma & Grandpa Guzman came for a visit! Braxton got a little spoiled, but hey, what are grandparents for right??? It was great to see Ricky have a break and be able to spend some time with his family during this special time of year. We have really enjoyed are time preparing for whats ahead. Ricky starts school in January and let me tell you, we are just counting down the days! It is a relief to be headed in the right direction. I tried to capture some quick pictures while Ricky's parents were here!

Thanksgiving at Aunty Lor's

Just a quick update! Thanksgiving was a blast! We all met up at my Aunt Lauries humble abode in Genesee. There was TONS of food and pies! I even contributed this year! I made a total of three pies,(two pumpkin and a blackberry pie), a green bean casserole, jello/pretzel dessert, vegitable tray and the to die for treat, CRISPIX MIX. All in all, it was an absolute blast! Braxton had some potatoes, green beans, and I am sure someone fed him a few bites of pie without me seeing...! We played games and had a great day! We really do have a lot to be thankful for. We also found some antlers for Braxton to wear....we thought they were pretty cute. Thank you to everyone for all your love and support.
