My sister Britney has always been known for her FABULOUS & INCREDIBLE ability to make cookies.  During her visit, requested by everyone, she made a few batches of chocolate chip cookies.  She was able to take this photo shortly after she finished making them.  And I thought it was absolutely hilarious!

Live. Love. Family.

We love having family gatherings!  My sister was able to fly over for a few days and have a great visit with friends and family.  MY grandparents were also able to come up from Lewiston to visit.  It is such a special time to see everyone together, smiling, happy, laughing, and overall enjoy the time that we have to spend together.  I have to realize as much as I love being around all my family,  that this wont last long.  My sister and oldest brother brent have already moved from home, and we miss them dearly!  It wont be long before the rest of us begin our new chapter in life, and if that new chapter keeps us around family, I will forever be grateful.  But you never know.....  We have been so blessed in our lives to be around family and have that continuous loving support.  As I look through these photos, I am so excited that I have had the opportunity to capture these wonderful moments, where we can come together and then someday look back, reminisce and create more memories together.
Love you Fam!

STP 2011

STP TIME!!!!
This last weekend, my hubs, Braxton, Mom, Dad & I made the venture to Seattle for my dads big bike ride to Portland.  We had a blast to say the least.
A few highlights:
- The amount of stops we made for bathroom breaks, I think we probably beat a world record or something:)
-Braxton was STUPENDOUS!
-Enjoying the pool/hot tub at the hotel
-Outback Steakhouse
-Getting up at 3am to start the big day!
-IHOP for breakfast!
-Cheering on my 55 year old dad in the bike ride
(which he beat his time last year by 10 minutes and averaged close to 19mph the entire 204 mile ride)
-Taking photos
-Walkie Talkies
-having a gps literally saved us!
We had so much fun, it is always so inspiring to watch my dad throughout this race, and even more so, to finish it.  He has more mental strength to endure endure endure that I hope to someday be able to have.
Till next year:

Happy 4th of July!

Fourth of July is my FAVORITE holiday of the year, I love all the great food, things to do, fireworks and more importantly, all the wonderful friends & family you get to share it with.  We had a cram packed day it seemed, but that is how I love it!  We got up in the morning and ventured over to Pullman, for my parents ward breakfast.  (A nice hot breakfast is always a great way to start off the 4th!)  Then, we had some lunch that afternoon at a park with some great friends of ours who were in town to visit.  After that, we headed off to the Moscow Aquatics Center for some fun in the sun & water!  We were there for a couple of hours, Braxton had a blast!  We left the aquatics center and ran back over to Pullman for a BBQ at my parents and to watch some fireworks.  Ricky and I were able to get some sparklers earlier that day to have for the evening!  The kids loved them!  From my parents house you can see most of Pullman, and it was neat to watch all the fireworks going off, not to mention, the BIG firework show at Sunnyside Park.
Overall, we had a GREAT day!
This coming weekend, we are gearing up to cheer my dad on in his 2nd year ride of the Seattle to Portland bike ride.  This year my mom will be able to go as well.  I can't wait!
