Lately
So, we had a wonderful weekend! It was nice to have a "lil" break from school, work, and overall our normal daily routines. We spent the day Saturday hangin' out as a family, and Ricky was able to go to his FIRST cougar football game with my Brother Brent who was in town from Omaha, NE. And they just so happen to be playing Idaho State University(where we met). The bengals got CREAMED!!! But they had a lot of fun, we capped off our evening with Frozen Yogurt from Jams with my mom and brother.
Since it was Labor day weekend, Ricky didn't have to work or go to school Monday, so we decided to head on over to the "farm" haha....and help out with a few projects my parents had been working on. My dad has been working hard to clear out this area for his shop to be built. So Ricky went over to help clear out the millions of pine needles and brush that had fallen from the trees. Of course, Braxton wanted to be right in the middle, helping and doing just what "daddy" was doing. My mom got all the grandkids hats to be outside, and Braxton insists on wearing the biggest hat there is, (probably because its more comfortable for his ginormous noggin). But it was pretty cute, and he loved it! While the boys were outside, I was helping my mom make "Kale Chips." And I couldn't help but love all the fun and beautiful "produce" around the kitchen, I can't wait to have our own garden someday.
Last but certainly not least, I am now 40 weeks pregnant, and things really are great! I am in a lot of denial of about even having a baby at this point, since we were thinking the baby was going to come 4 weeks ago. Am I ready? YES. Can I wait? Yes. So, I guess that pretty much sums it up:) I really do not have anything to complain about...ANYMORE....so I am just taking these last few days, hours, maybe weeks I have to enjoy this time, and prepare myself, Braxton, and daddy for our new arrival very soon.
