Another Family BBQ
Our family can't seem to get enough of family bbq's.  We seem to always find a reason to have one!  This time, my oldest brother Brent flew into town for the week, and we decided it would be a great idea to get the fam together for some grub!  Of course, I brought my camera along and was able to snap some adorable photos of the kids before it got too dark which is why I missed my other nieces Amara & Aliah.  Boo!  Next time though girls!  I think these photos will be so fun for the kids to look back on someday, and it's fun for me to get some more practice in as well!  Enjoy!

Needed Family Time

Ricky’s brother Carlos, lives in Louisville, KY, and was able to come to Emmett for a great visit! And even, better, they were all able to come up for a family visit. The last time Ricky’s entire family was together all at once, was during our wedding a little over 3 years ago. So today, was a special day. I love seeing how much Ricky’s face lights up when he is able to be around his family. Braxton was also able to spend some time with his cousin Cameron (Carlos’ son). The last time Brax and Cameron saw each other, was when Braxton was only 4-5 months old. So it was really fun to watch how well they go along and could finally interact with each other. I thought it would be important and really fun to take some family photos for them, since these moments are so far and few between. We were able to cram a lot of fun things in while they were here! Carlos & Cameron fly back to Louisville Monday, but we will be seeing his parents and sister again shortly, as baby #2 arrives shortly for us. Enjoy the photos!

Tour de Lentil 2011

Tour De Lentil August 2011
Another bike ride!!!  This time it was only a 100k ride through the beautiful and HOT fields of the Palouse!  They started the ride Saturday morning around 9am, and the riders were OFF!  It wasn't hard to find my dad, since he was the only one wearing a BYU Jersey As always, we had a blast!  The temps hit upwards in the low 90's making the ride harder as the day progressed.  Because my dad beat his time by 15 MINUTES from last year, we MISSED him at the finish!  But, we were able to snag photos during some other parts of his ride.  And we sneaked a quick maternity photo in as well!
