Slowly Back in the Swing!
The move has finally come to an end! We owe a big thank you to both of our families for their countless efforts to help us. It seemed like it would never end! Along with the "big" move, we were able to attend my cousins high school graduation. I actually felt somewhat old(even though I know I am young) watching her graduate, thinking back to the days I used to babysit her and her sisters. We have also been fortunate to have a few sunny days come our way, and of course I had to snap a few photos of Braxton.
Ricky is working like crazy at his NEW job with a company called STRATA. It is a type of construction type work, and he does all the testing of soil, concrete, etc...to make sure it meets standards for structures to be built upon....sounds technical I know, he is still learning. This job has truly been a blessing for our family, and even though we seem to see Ricky less, in the long run, it will make it so we can see him more.
As for me, I am 27 weeks pregnant, and doing great! This pregnancy seems to be flying by, and I am excited for Braxton's little brother to be here. I am learning so much about who I am, what I am capable of during this pregnancy, so I can gladly wait another 3 months for him to come along, I am taking the opportunity to soak in all the education I can, mostly from others.
Braxton has adjusted great to his big boy TWIN bed. And it's so cute to hear him get up in the morning, he usually knocks on his own door, and says, "mama????" Most of the time he can open it. Sometimes it gets jammed or something. Our next step with him will be potty training....eeeek.
All and all, we are doing great, keeping plenty busy, and enjoying our summer! We have so much to be grateful for, and so much to keep working towards.
