Once upon a time there was a boy named Braxton. He LOOOOVED to play with cars. He played with them ANYWHERE. One day, his mother found him playing quietly in the window sill. No distractions, no other toys, just him, and his one silver car. Mother watched with smile on her face as he started to discover yet one more place for his car to drive. The blinds.
What joy came over this little boy, as he carefully, specifically and meticulously placed his silver car, in the blinds
A sense of accomplishment, pride, and a "I did it" face as he stared at his car.
Then he smirked at his mother. Which of course made mother laugh.
So there that little silver car sits, in the blinds, in the window sill so quietly and patiently, waiting for this little boy, to come back.
Moments later, he DID come, and he played, he smiled, and we laughed. And I thought to myself, "Oh the joys, of motherhood."
Cute- boys do have a special attachment to cars... weird! :)
