Giggles and Wiggles

This video is of Braxton and I playing peek-a-boo, it was pretty funny to say the least.

Braxton likes to grab his feet and stick them in his mouth. Gross....

One day Braxton had a hard time falling asleep for a nap, I knew that he was tired. So I grabbed from his crib and came and layed with him on my bed, and he went right to sleep. Moments like these are why I love being a mom!

I guess Braxton decided he would give someone a call???

So I just can't get enough of this new trick Braxton does with his bottom lip.... and his laugh....too cute.

I FOUND TEETH!

Shortly after Braxton puked bananas and formula all over me, I took him to the changing altar.  I took off his soaked pajamas that he had been in all day till now and tickled his bare belly a few times.  I put my finger in his mouth to naw on, (he likes to do that) and something felt....different.  We have been thinking for a long time that he was teething, but never really saw anything, till today!!  I saw not one...but TWO frontal, bottom teeth right next to each other coming in.  There were little bumps where the tips were beginning to sneak through!  They have not broken the skin yet, but they are on their way!  Oh the joys of motherhood at its best, once again.

High Chair!

So we experimented with our new high chair!  We thought we would try spoon feeding him some rice and see how it went.  We had tried this before, and he would just push the rice back out with his tongue(a big mess).  But this time, it was a SUCCESS!  I was absolutely thrilled!  I have been waiting since the day he was born to be able to cut food into small pieces, make his sandwiches into triangles and other neat shapes(still waiting for that part), but today was an actual step in the "real food" direction!  YAY!

Random Updates!

With summer being "over" and the students are now back, this small town of moscow has defintiely picked up the pace a bit.  Our wards are no longer combined, and we go to church at 9!!!  YAY!  Winco is packed....all the time(Except the occasional midnight trips to the store)! Pedestrians EVERYWHERE!  It really is a miracle I haven't killed someone.  Restaraunt parking lots are filled to the MAX!  Not that we eat out a lot, but finding some parking for the grocery store would be nice.  I hear police sirens at least once a day.....should I be concerned?

We really are enjoying this time here.  Ricky is getting really excited for school, and we both just came to the conclusion that I should take some more online classes through ISU(duh?? why didn't we think of that earlier!)  We we are both headed in a great direction.  Ricky just got a calling in the ward, 1st councelor in the Elders Quorum.  He has a lot of meetings!  His job at the bank is going really well!  The bank really has been good to our family.  Paying tithing has really been a blessing.  Braxton is rolling over a lot, and "talking" a lot and "squealing".....haha.  More of his personality is coming through and its so fun to watch!  He sleeps on his side ALWAYS!  Some new things he started to do:

1.) rub his eyes when he is tired

2.) Actually jump in his jumper

3.) Prop his upper body up when he is on his belly

4.) Try to roll away when I change his diaper

5.) Start to kinda sorta hold his own bottle

Our little family is growing!

OH!  Funny story, usually Braxton wakes up around 8am, he usually talks when he wakes up for about 45 minutes or so, sometimes not all(another new thing)  But one morning when I went to grab him he looked like this->

Then I removed the blanket only to find this----->
