8 Months Old!

Today marks the 8 month mark for Braxton! Some days I can't believe it and other days I think, "he is ONLY 8 months!":) Nonetheless, we are loving every minute of it! We are gearing up for Thanksgiving, which is rapidly approaching! Braxton will sure get to use his "pinchers" during this Holiday! Hooray for mashed potatoes! Some new developments:

-Does NOT like baths
-Loves Cheerios
-Holds his own bottle OFFICIALLY now.
-Drinks from a Camel Pack(the straw you have to bite)
-Reaches when he wants held
-Pushes things away when he doesn't want them
-Sometimes gets up on hands and knees, usually followed my rocking
-No crawling yet, but he is close
-Will ANYDAY cut four more teeth, yes thats right, 4!!!!!
-Still sleeps through the night
-Said "Mummm" and "mamamama"
-Likes to pat things...a lot...

So I have been practicing with Braxton to use his "pincher fingers" to pick up small pieces of food. He is slowly progressing!

We had a lot of fun on Halloween! We had a ward party that evening that we all went to. It was so great to see all the cousins dressed up(we had quite a variety!). Afterwards, some of us went over to the Sams in Genesee to spend some time out there. Overall we had a lot of fun! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Guzman Happenings!

This month has gone by so fast! However, sometimes we are grateful for that. With this year quickly wrapping up, and holidays left and right, I can't help but take pictures and video all the time! I don't want to miss anything! Hopefully I will be as dilligent with the other children as I am with this one! My brother's birthday was yesterday and we had a small(short notice) family gathering to celebrate! Mandy(Bryce's Wife) made him a cake and was kind enough to share it with the rest of us. We love getting everyone together! I took some video of the evening! Also, some random pictures of Braxton. Can't help but want to post them all, but theses were the favorites!

Winter is Coming!

The days are getting colder and colder, and I love it! We all love it! Here are a few updates for ya:

Ricky has started doing a paper route in the mornings 7 days a week. Trying to earn a little more money and pay off some debt if not all of it! That is our goal, some people say we are crazy, but it will be well worth our time in the end.

Braxton's teeth look huge.

I applied for a few part time positions. We shall see how those turn out.

The schedule for the spring 2010 term of school just came out and we are getting ricky's schedule all worked out! It has been really exciting for the both of us!

Braxton has his 2nd series of shots this week. YAY

We finally went to Ferdinands ice cream shop in pullman, and that was a lot of fun!

Ricky received an award for his performance as a Universal Banker during the 2nd quarter!

I have lost 10 pounds. YAY! Portions are everything! And exercise(thanks anytime fitness)!

Braxton is 27 1/2 inches long and 20 lbs 10 oz.

I am teaching Sunday School now, last week was the first lesson and it went great!

Braxton got a new suit & winter hat from G-ma Winterbottom(Of course its cougar colors)!
