Winter is Coming!

The days are getting colder and colder, and I love it! We all love it! Here are a few updates for ya:

Ricky has started doing a paper route in the mornings 7 days a week. Trying to earn a little more money and pay off some debt if not all of it! That is our goal, some people say we are crazy, but it will be well worth our time in the end.

Braxton's teeth look huge.

I applied for a few part time positions. We shall see how those turn out.

The schedule for the spring 2010 term of school just came out and we are getting ricky's schedule all worked out! It has been really exciting for the both of us!

Braxton has his 2nd series of shots this week. YAY

We finally went to Ferdinands ice cream shop in pullman, and that was a lot of fun!
Best ice cream EVER!

Ricky received an award for his performance as a Universal Banker during the 2nd quarter!

We all went to an 8o's rock party at ricky's work(pictures to follow)

I have lost 10 pounds. YAY! Portions are everything! And exercise(thanks anytime fitness)!

Braxton is 27 1/2 inches long and 20 lbs 10 oz.

I am teaching Sunday School now, last week was the first lesson and it went great!

Braxton got a new suit & winter hat from G-ma Winterbottom(Of course its cougar colors)!

Really everything has just been great! We are happy to be here and excited to see what the future holds! Below are some pictures of the latest happenings and such! Enjoy!

We love you all!

The Stats

Weight: 19 lbs 10oz
Length: 27 inches
Size of Head: Off the charts.
(just kidding, 18.4 inches around)

I came out and caught him getting into the DVD's, he looks guilty.

Just when I didn't think he could get ANY cuter, he does.

Giggles and Wiggles

This video is of Braxton and I playing peek-a-boo, it was pretty funny to say the least.

Braxton likes to grab his feet and stick them in his mouth. Gross....
One day Braxton had a hard time falling asleep for a nap, I knew that he was tired. So I grabbed from his crib and came and layed with him on my bed, and he went right to sleep. Moments like these are why I love being a mom!

I guess Braxton decided he would give someone a call???

He looks a little guilty if you ask me....

I FOUND TEETH!

Shortly after Braxton puked bananas and formula all over me, I took him to the changing altar.  I took off his soaked pajamas that he had been in all day till now and tickled his bare belly a few times.  I put my finger in his mouth to naw on, (he likes to do that) and something felt....different.  We have been thinking for a long time that he was teething, but never really saw anything, till today!!  I saw not one...but TWO frontal, bottom teeth right next to each other coming in.  There were little bumps where the tips were beginning to sneak through!  They have not broken the skin yet, but they are on their way!  Oh the joys of motherhood at its best, once again.

Other Random Braxton Funnies!

I like taking a lot of Braxton pictures, here are some other snapshots that I have gotten of him in the last couple of weeks!
He loves the high chair!
He would giggle in between every bite, it was really cute!
I came out to check on him and he was laying like this, watching tv, I thought "wow, he really does take after his daddy:)"
At a ward softball/bbq
Getting ready to go somewhere with mama!
Taking a nap in his crib, came to check on him and this is what he looked like.....haha.

High Chair!

So we experimented with our new high chair!  We thought we would try spoon feeding him some rice and see how it went.  We had tried this before, and he would just push the rice back out with his tongue(a big mess).  But this time, it was a SUCCESS!  I was absolutely thrilled!  I have been waiting since the day he was born to be able to cut food into small pieces, make his sandwiches into triangles and other neat shapes(still waiting for that part), but today was an actual step in the "real food" direction!  YAY!
