Emmett Trip

We had a lot of fun this last trip down to Emmett. We spent about 10 days down there and we were able to do a lot! We spent the first couple days camping with our good friends/family, Cory & Megan, and their adorable son Brig. We had a blast! It was so fun to just get away for the few days we were able to. Next, Ricky's sister Teresa came home from her mission from the Dominican Republic. She looked amazing! That was fun for her to see Braxton for the first time. The rest of the week we spent time with family and friends. It was definitely a much needed vacation.

Tis the Season to be Walking.....

Just a quick update! Braxton is WALKING! It's official, and I am no longer in denial. He is also getting 4 more teeth, so that will total up to be 12 teeth! Ricky is ALMOST done with his summer course, just one week left. He is still working like crazy! Fortunately, he will get a break, this weekend we are headed to his hometown of Emmett for about 10 days to visit friends and family, and also his sister is returning home from her mission. We have a lot to look forward to! We are enjoying our new place, it is a lot closer to work, school, and friends. As for me, I am staying at home, and enjoying the most recent weather we have had! Braxton likes to be outside and running around! I have planted two tomato plants, 1 anaheim pepper plant, and some basil. I already have a flower on one of my tomato plants!

Genesee Days! We had so much fun when we attended this years Genesee Days Celebration! We spent most of the day at my cousins house playing games, visiting, eating, roasting marshmallows and later that evening we went to the fireworks! We had a lot of fun! Braxton mostly played on the swing set with his cousins.

We are doing well! And we continue to appreciate all the love and support we receive from our family and friends! Thanks to everyone!

***Ricky is almost done with school! And he is doing FABULOUS!

***We will soon be moving into our new duplex, and we are very excited!

***Braxton is still not walking, but I am not rushing him into it by any means!

***Braxton is speaking paragraphs and paragraphs of "baby" talk. So funny!

***Ricky & I are still working, he is at US Bank and I work at Anytime Fitness

***Our 2 year anniversary is coming up! It seems like it has been longer!

***Braxton seems to be getting MORE teeth!(molars...and canines)

***We love being here and we are excited for all the new adventures life can bring these next few years!

Time Flies!

I knew I had a bunch of pictures that I needed to post so I was dreading the day I was going to have to post them all because I knew it would take a long time. But, nevertheless, here they are. Ricky and I were able to go to the temple last saturday, and thanks to our friends Jason and Carey who watched Braxton we were able to go. It was a great day! A big thanks to them! Braxton is almost a year, and I am not sure where the time has gone. Some new things he is into:

**He can now reach his name blocks(decoration) in his window sill, and so in the mornings sometimes I wonder what is going on, and when I go in to check, usually about half the blocks are in his crib.

**He is starting to climb up my pant legs when he wants to be held.

**He has officially said "Dada" but I am not sure HE knows that.

**He has a new big boy car seat! And loves it! Especially the cupholder.

**He has a girlfriend already.

Those are just a few of the big ones.

We are happy, ricky is doing well juggling work and school, I am being a mommy and helping my parents move. We are blessed to be here. We have so many great friends and family near. Thanks to you all!

Our little bundle of Joy!

I couldn't help but want to post these pictures of our little bundle of joy! And he really is a joy! He is now a little over 10 months old! It really has gone by quickly. I look forward to each day with him! It has been slightly difficult for him with dad being in school now. He doesn't get to play with him as much. But they still get their daddy/son time. We are happy and we are busy. We have a lot to look forward to.

Some New Year Happenings!
*Ricky has started school.
*I have started working out every day!
*We are ALMOST done with the paper route, just a couple more days!
*Braxton had his first hair cut(pictures soon to come!)
*Braxton now has 8 teeth!
*Braxton pulls himself up to a standing position.(already have had several "oweeeees")
*Ricky's Bank has qualified to go to the Auction Party!

We have really been blessed in our lives as we look and learn from the past, but we are anxious for the future and what the Lord has in store for our family! We know we are in the right place and at the right time. Thank you to everyone who has helped us and supported us in these moments of blissful chaos. We love you!

A Christmas to Remember

I have been thinking a lot about what I would write here in this blog when the time came. And still I don't know. But I do know that we have had a great year. January of this year we were in Emmett, Idaho. I was in my third trimester. We were not about to move ANYWHERE. March 20th, 2009 (3 1/2 months later) something beautiful came. Our little boy was born. 2 1/2 months after that, we moved to Moscow Idaho. 6 months after that, brings us here, now.

We are getting ready to begin school on the 13th of January. Braxton is a little over 9 months old with a whopping count of 7 TEETH! I guess they all just decided to come at once! We had a beautiful Christmas at my parents "new" house over in Pullman. We ate soup, watched a movie on the projector, ate/decorated sugar cookies, played games, all went to wingers, admired how beautiful it was outside, ate breakfast, played basketball, at crispix mix, shared childhood stories, laughed together, and even cried together. It was beautiful. We may not all be here next year, as we are all moving into new chapters of our lives. But we do all love each other. I have taken an interest in "calligraphy." I have been developing my own "fonts" of handwriting and maybe someday create & design my own cards(christmas, thankyou, etc.). But that will be a little ways down the road. Ricky is working hard. Too hard at times. We officially finish the paper route on the 15th of January. YAY! We are all happy! We are VERY excited to begin this new year, PHEW!
